  • This is the simplest idea I had to allow rotation. Drill a hole the diameter of a washer just deep enough so the head of the bolt is recessed.
  • Attach a 1/4 inch thick piece of aluminum with 1/4 -20 threaded hole.
  • Attach quick release from tripod.
  • Because the hole in the upper plate is threaded, you can adjust the tension. The nut is then used as a lock nut to maintain the proper tension.
  • Travel bracket mounted on mini Bogen tripod. While this tripod cannot support the camera, it does allow me to rotate the camera vertically over the nodal point.
  • This was taken using the mini Bogen sitting on the edge of the wall.
  • Heavy duty pano bracket. Must be used on full size tripod.
