G10 mounted on bracket

  • DIY pano bracket for G10. Light enough to carry on vacation.
  • G10 mounted on bracket
  • T-mount for top of ladder. I used this for the panos at Southern Museum of Flight where they have a 7 ft fence.
  • Old man on ladder.
  • Manfrotto 715SHB tripod. Finally, I found a two pound tripod that can hold a 5 pound camera.
  • Light weight bracket for horizontal panoramas
  • Light weight bracket for vertical panoramas
  • Light weight bracket for horizontal panoramas with Canon 40D and Tamron 11-18mm lens.
  • Light weight bracket for vertical panoramas with Canon 40D and Tamron 11-18mm lens. To save weight when traveling, there is no provision for rotation. The level on the hot shoe is essential.
  • Home made 7/16 wrench from 1/8 X 3/4 aluminum. Much lighter than any wrench made of steel.
  • Panoramic travel kit. Ruler is to show size, not part of the kit.
  • This is the simplest idea I had to allow rotation. Drill a hole the diameter of a washer just deep enough so the head of the bolt is recessed.
  • Attach a 1/4 inch thick piece of aluminum with 1/4 -20 threaded hole.
  • Attach quick release from tripod.
  • Because the hole in the upper plate is threaded, you can adjust the tension. The nut is then used as a lock nut to maintain the proper tension.
  • Travel bracket mounted on mini Bogen tripod. While this tripod cannot support the camera, it does allow me to rotate the camera vertically over the nodal point.
  • This was taken using the mini Bogen sitting on the edge of the wall.
  • Heavy duty pano bracket. Must be used on full size tripod.
  • Medium duty pano bracket. Must be used on full size tripod.
  • Pano bracket with Canon 40D and Tamron 11-18mm lens.
