  • Bogen 3001 tripod, Manfrotto 486RC2 Ball head, Panosaurus Pano head
  • Canon 40D with 28-135 lens mounted on Panosaurus head.
  • Note that the 3lb camera tilts slightly.
  • My modification to correct this. The turnbuckle allows me to compensate for the weight of the camera.
  • I also added a mirror at a 45° angle which allows me to view the bubble level even with the camera in place.
  • When traveling it is necessary to have something light even if it is not ideal. This bracket fits a Manfrotto 785B tripod. Canon 40D with Tamron 11-18mm Three images at 11mm covers almost 270°
  • This tripod and bracket weighs about 2.5lbs versus almost 9 lbs for the Bogen and Panosaurus
  • On the left is the light weight travel bracket. The one on the right fits the Bogen and is heavier. These are for horizontal frames.
